Ghost Towns 5 Stars.jpg

Consider this your personal invitation to join us on 20 June 2024, at 6:30 PM, in Heller Hall in Historic downtown Winter Garden for an enlightening evening of History, Mystery, & Intrigue. In little more than an hour we will visit two dozen towns without you ever leaving the comfort of your seat, all while you hear of once-upon-a-time Central Florida cities such as Monte Vista, Creston, Crown Point, Vineland, Villa City, Beulah, Palm Springs, and more.

Adapted from my 5 Star 2015 book, CitrusLAND: Ghost Towns & Phantom Trains, this special evening at the Winter Garden Heritage Foundation will take you well beyond the Ghost Towns of the Orange Belt Railway, although I do plan to make a brief stop at the forgotten American Paradise town of Palm Springs.
